With the proceeds from the Charity Auction at AnimagiC 2026, we would like to support another important aid project by FLY & HELP, thanks to the great support of all bidders: In the rural community of Duadaso No. 2 in Ghana’s Bono Region, a new Junior High School and a kindergarten, each with three classrooms, are to be built. Additionally, the construction of a toilet facility, the drilling of a well with mechanized water supply, and hygiene and maintenance training are planned.
Approximately 8,000 people live in Duadaso No. 2. The local Junior High School currently has only a provisional building made of a wooden frame and corrugated iron roof, while kindergarten children are taught in the headmaster’s office due to a lack of their own premises. Adequate toilets and a safe drinking water supply are also missing.

Around 285 students are expected to benefit from the new infrastructure. Both school buildings will be equipped with staff rooms, storage rooms, and school furniture. The new toilet facility includes separate areas for girls and boys, as well as a changing room for girls. The goal of the project, scheduled for approximately six months of construction, is to improve learning conditions and access to education, ensure the supply of clean water and adequate sanitation, and enable girls in particular to attend school regularly even during their menstruation.

You can find more information on the FLY & HELP homepage. However, we will, of course, keep you updated on the project’s progress here and report as soon as the Junior High School and the kindergarten are completed and opened.
