The proceeds from the AnimagiC 2024 charity auction went towards supporting the construction of a new school in Kigorobya, Uganda. <\/h2>\n\n

At AnimagiC 2024<\/em>, the charity auction raised a record sum of around 14,000 Euros, which benefited the construction of a new school in the village of Kigorobya in Uganda. Thanks to all visitors who bid on one or more items, as well as the support of other FLY & HELP<\/a> donors, the St. Padre Pio Kindergarten & Primary School was able to open in April 2025. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Before the new opening, due to a lack of facilities, only 400 out of 500 school-aged children could be taught at the school in Kigorobya, and they only had dilapidated wooden and mud huts available. <\/p>\n\n

The new building now offers a school with a total of five classrooms, consisting of one two-unit and one three-unit block, modern sanitary facilities, a rainwater system, electrical installations, and \u2013 thanks to additional funds \u2013 its own drinking well. The fact that children in Kigorobya now have adequate access to education through the St. Padre Pio Kindergarten & Primary School, and thus the chance for a better, self-determined future, is also thanks to the bidders of the Charity Auction 2024<\/em>. We would therefore like to express our sincere thanks once again for the support, also on behalf of the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP and, of course, especially the students of the St. Padre Pio Kindergarten & Primary School! <\/p>\n\n
