Accreditation AnimagiC 2027

Press media and content creators who intend to cover the event may request accreditation in advance via the provided form (at the bottom of the page, starting October 2026). The advance accreditation period ends on May 31, 2027. After that, accreditation is no longer possible for bloggers, vloggers, streamers, and content creators.

The online presences and channels will be reviewed as part of the accreditation process and must meet minimum standards (keywords: imprint obligation, brand safety, observance of copyright and usage rights). Collaborations with dealers/exhibitors of AnimagiC must be reported to the organizer (e.g., in the comment field).

Accreditation for full-time professional press representatives from broadcast, television, and print media is also available on-site regardless of deadlines (waiting times may occur on-site).

The following rules apply regardless of the medium:

• No claim to free press passes.
• One press pass per editorial office (additional tickets available via advance sale or via invoice; no press passes for accompanying persons)
• Access only during official opening hours.
• We ask for your understanding that our Japanese guests of honor generally do not wish to be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded.
• As a general rule, all program events and concerts – except for communicated exceptions and/or special arrangements due to corporate partnerships – are subject to a recording and livestreaming ban (photography, film, audio). The only exceptions are the official AnimagiC photographers and the teams of the respective artists and participating companies.
• Seat reservations for press representatives are not possible in the rooms and halls for logistical reasons. For safety reasons, rooms and halls reach their maximum capacity once no more seats are available. If all seats are taken, access to the respective program item can no longer be granted.
• Content Creators: Filming permits for content creators (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) with reporting interest are only granted as part of accredited press coverage or corporate partnerships. The minimum requirements stated in the form apply. It is strictly prohibited to use the event as a backdrop for comedy content, pranks, or your own events (e.g., giveaways, meet & greets within the convention venue). Promotional videos (product placements) may not be filmed for companies that are not involved in the event.
• Distributing promotional materials or gifts, as well as raffle promotions as part of on-site press activities at AnimagiC without the organiser’s approval are not permitted.
• Following the event, AnimagiC will provide photographic material upon request, as soon as and to the extent that it becomes available.

On-site Accreditation:

• Only full-time, professional press representatives from radio, television, and print media who can identify themselves with a press card (DJV, BDZV, VDZ, DFJV, verdi, and FreeLens) can be accredited on-site. However, there is generally no entitlement to free press tickets; depending on the number of visitors and hall capacity, access cannot be guaranteed even for professional press representatives on-site.
• Only one press ticket per editorial team is regularly issued, particularly in the case of on-site accreditation. AnimagiC does not provide tickets for accompanying persons.
• Please note that on-site accreditation involves a waiting period and may be denied. We recommend accrediting in advance. Information on the program, guests of honor, and other important details will only be sent out beforehand.
