Artist Alley 2027

We celebrate original content: Meet the creators of manga, novels, illustrations, designs, animations, fashion, and accessories at lovingly decorated stalls and purchase special indie products directly from the artists – or exhibit yourself! With the curated Artist Market in the Variohalle, AnimagiC offers ambitious and professional creatives and independent labels their own platform for their works, products, and ideas.

Artist alleys, where hobby artists and professional creatives influenced by anime, manga, and Japanese culture present their work in person, have become an integral part of the fan scene. We want to support this creativity with the AnimagiC Artist Alley. Whether you’re an illustrator, manga artist, or author, or a designer of otaku, lolita, steampunk, science fiction, or fantasy accessories: at the AnimagiC Artist Alley in the Variohalle, you can display and sell your work throughout the entire convention weekend. Visitors can look forward to direct interaction with new talents and established scene figures and can pick up unique artworks.

AnimagiC aims to promote self-developed ideas and original works through the AnimagiC Artist Market – fan works, parodies, and similar creations that are not entirely independent (keyword: generative AI) are therefore not permitted. The exhibited works must also be suitable for an audience aged 12 and over or be presented appropriately censored for viewing.

Applications for the Artist Alley 2027 are now open until December 31, 2026 via the following form. The selection process will run in parallel until the end of February 2027. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us at any time via email with the subject line “Artist Alley” at info[at]animagic.de.
